The Pow Wow will take place in Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation.
WIBIGOON – For the past 30 years, Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation has seen hundreds in attendance at their annual Pow Wow.
Traditional First Nation Pow Wow is rich in culture, ceremony, and storytelling. Through dance, drums, and even food, each element reflects the human interaction with the natural world and the self. Be mindful of their knowledge as you celebrate First Nations culture.
“I know the Pow Wow committee has been working hard,” said Chief Clayton Wetelainen. “It’s a very proud event. Anybody who wants to come by and come visit that’s what we are all about. I would like to give credit to the Pow Wow committee. They have worked tremendously hard.”
The Wabigoon Lake Pow Wow takes place on Sept. 2, 3, and 4.
