As many as 170 combat engagements between Ukrainian forces and Russian invaders were recorded on the front lines in the past 24 hours. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a situation update as of 10:00 on Tuesday, June 25, Ukrinform reports.
“According to specified information, over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched three missile strikes against the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas using six missiles, 63 airstrikes dropping 90 guided aerial bombs, about 4,000 shelling attacks, of which 107 were carried out using multiple rocket launchers, and more than 1,300 kamikaze drone strikes,” the update reads.
Over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s Air Force and missile and artillery forces struck three enemy personnel concentration areas, one area of concentration of weapons and military equipment and two ammunition depots of the enemy.
Forty-eight combat clashes have already occurred on June 25. The invaders launched four airstrikes using nine guided aerial bombs and carried out over 550 shelling attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
In the Kharkiv sector, two engagements are ongoing near Vovchansk. The situation is under control.
In the past 24 hours, Russian forces lost in this sector 93 soldiers killed and wounded in action, an armored fighting vehicle, four artillery systems, and seven vehicles.
Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has launched six attacks near Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane, and Stelmakhivka in the Kupiansk sector. Ukrainian defenders repelled three attacks, and as many are ongoing.
In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian soldiers repelled five enemy assaults near Kopanky and Makiivka. One more battle is ongoing.
In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled three Russian attacks near Bilohorivka and Vyimka. The situation is tense near Verkhniokamianske, where four combat clashes are currently underway. Ukrainian forces keep the situation under control.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the Ukrainian military successfully repelled an enemy assault near Andriivka. The invaders are continuing their attempts to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from their positions near Chasiv Yar and Ivanivske, where seven battles are currently ongoing.
The aggressor is trying to get closer to Toretsk. Today, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces have already successfully repelled one enemy attack. At the same time, Ukrainian soldiers are holding back another enemy assault in this sector.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders are taking measures to prevent Russian troops from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory. Thirteen combat clashes have already occurred today. The enemy is trying to break through from the Ocheretyne area towards Yevhenivka, Novooleksandrivka, and Vozdvyzhenka. Ukrainian forces successfully repelled eight enemy attacks, and five more are continuing. The situation is under control.
According to detailed information, Russian forces lost 210 soldiers in this sector in the past 24 hours. A mortar and two cars were destroyed.
In the Kurakhove sector, Russian invaders launched an unsuccessful assault near Heorhiivka. Over the past 24 hours, an enemy tank and two vehicles were destroyed in this sector.
In the Vremivka sector, two enemy attacks near Kostiantynivka and Urozhaine were also unsuccessful.
In the Orikhiv sector, Russian forces launched an unsuccessful attack near Robotyne.
