The Russian army launched 144 strikes on the border areas of Sumy region on January 8.
This was reported by Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Dmytro Zhyvytskyi on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“The Russian army launched 144 strikes on the territory of Sumy region today. In particular, the Esman, Myropillia, Nova Sloboda, Bilopillia and Khotin communities came under fire,” he wrote.
According to him, the Russian shelling damaged residential buildings, private houses, a school and a local farm.
He noted that civilians were not injured as a result of the attacks.
As Ukrinform reported, Russian invaders shelled the border areas of Sumy region last night. As a result of the shelling, a fire broke out on the territory of a local enterprise.
