The Russian troops shelled the urban-type settlement of Yampil, Donetsk region, while local residents were receiving humanitarian aid.
Deputy Head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“Yampil, Donetsk region. The occupiers used cluster munitions. The central square of the city and an administration building came under fire.
Local residents were receiving humanitarian aid during the shelling,” he wrote.
Tymoshenko said that three people were wounded in the attack. They were provided with the necessary medical assistance.
As reported by Ukrinform, on December 7, Russian troops shelled Kurakhove city in Donetsk region with artillery, killing eight people and wounding five more.
